This policy explains how Sweet Potato MB, which operates Sotto, handles your personal data.

What we collect

When you order, we collect your name, email, phone number and shipping address so we can deliver your order and contact you about it. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

We use your details to fulfil and support your order. Our fulfilment partner receives your name, address and phone number to ship your parcel. We may email you about your order, including one email after delivery asking for a review (sent through our email provider, Resend); we only send marketing emails if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Analytics and advertising

Our site may use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and purchases from our ads. When you buy, we also send Meta the purchase with your email, phone and address in hashed (unreadable) form, plus your IP address and browser, so Meta can match it to an ad you saw; Meta does not receive your card details. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta and browser settings.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays) so we can make the site easier to use. Clarity does not record what you type into forms or your payment details. Learn more in Microsoft's privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it by emailing hello@getsotto.store. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, then delete them.
